Payouts & Withdrawals

How unused tokens are withdrawn, who handles the payment, and what is deducted along the way.

Last updated August 5, 2026

This page explains how withdrawals work on avaTOK. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, Tokens & Wallet policy, Refunds & Cancellations policy, and Pricing & Fees page.

Unused tokens can be withdrawn. They convert back at the same fixed rate they were bought at — 1 token = 1 US cent (US$0.01), so 100 tokens are US$1.00. What reaches your account is that amount less the transfer fee, any tax (including Indian GST where it is due), and any charge your own bank applies. Every figure is shown before you confirm.

1. Who pays you

Which company handles your payout depends on where you are:

  • Ava Global International Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India — contracts with and serves customers in India, and handles India transactions and payouts under Indian law and GST.
  • Ava Global International, Inc., Delaware, USA — contracts with and serves international (non-India) customers, and handles international transactions and payouts.

Your location and the account details you provide determine which entity pays you. You cannot choose the entity.

2. Who can withdraw

Withdrawal is available to account holders with an unused token balance, where the account is in good standing and the withdrawal is permitted in your country. Tokens already spent cannot be withdrawn. Withdrawal may be unavailable while an account is suspended or under review, or where a payment dispute is open.

The value of the balance you are withdrawing is worked out at the fixed rate of 1 token = US$0.01. Tokens are not converted at a different rate on the way out than on the way in.

3. India — payouts to UPI

For customers in India, payouts are made in INR to a verified UPI address linked to your Indian bank account. The UPI address and the bank account behind it must belong to the account holder. We may decline a payout to a third party's account.

Because a token is denominated at US$0.01, the USD value of the balance you withdraw is converted into INR using the exchange rate shown to you at the time of withdrawal.

Please make sure the UPI address you enter is correct. A payout sent to a valid but incorrect address that you supplied may not be recoverable.

4. International payouts

For customers outside India, payouts are handled by Ava Global International, Inc. using the payout methods available in your country, typically in USD or the currency shown at the time of withdrawal. Availability, supported methods, and any conversion applied are shown during the withdrawal flow.

5. Verification before payout

A withdrawal may be subject to verification of your identity and of the receiving account before it is released. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the bank account, UPI address, or payout method, and we may hold or decline a payout until any check we consider necessary is complete. Information collected for this purpose is handled under our Privacy Policy.

6. Transfer fee and GST

Withdrawals are subject to a transfer fee. Where GST applies in India, it is charged in addition. The fee and any tax are shown to you at the time of withdrawal, before you confirm — please read that screen, as it is the authoritative figure for your withdrawal. We do not publish a fixed rate here because fees can vary by method, currency, and country.

The amount that reaches your account is the amount withdrawn less the fee, any tax, and any charge applied by your own bank or payment provider.

7. Tax withholding

Where Indian tax law requires withholding on marketplace payouts — for example TDS — we may withhold the required amount and remit it to the authorities. Similar withholding may apply in other jurisdictions where the law requires it. We may ask you for tax details before releasing a payout, and we may decline a payout until they are provided.

You are responsible for your own tax position, including declaring your earnings and paying any tax due on them. Nothing on this page is tax advice.

8. Minimum balance

A minimum withdrawable balance may apply. Where it does, it is shown in the withdrawal screen.

9. Timelines

Any timeframe shown to you is an estimate, not a guarantee. Payouts depend on verification, on our payment partners, and on your bank. Public holidays, banking cut-offs, and additional checks can extend the time taken.

10. Failed or returned payouts

If a payout fails or is returned — for example because the UPI address is inactive, the bank account is closed, or the details do not match — we will normally return the amount to your token balance so you can try again with corrected details. A fee already incurred on a failed attempt may not be recoverable. Repeated failures may require you to re-verify the receiving account.

11. Fraud, AML, and holds

We may delay, hold, reduce, or decline a payout where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, sanctions exposure, abuse of the platform, or a breach of our Terms of Service, or where we are required or permitted to do so by law or by a payment partner. We may also set off amounts you owe us — for example a chargeback, a reversed transaction, or a refund we have issued to a customer — against a pending payout.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
