We care about you. But we must be honest: Hello Fraands is a place to talk, and it is not an emergency service. If you need urgent help, please reach out to the people below.

If you are in danger

Call 112. This is the emergency number in India. Use it if you or someone near you is in danger, being hurt, or in a crisis that cannot wait.

Do not wait for us. Do not wait for a host. Call 112 first.

If you feel very low or want mental-health support

Call Tele-MANAS on 14416. It is free, and it is open 24 hours, every day. You can talk to someone who is trained to help.

Please also tell someone you trust, like a family member or a close friend. You do not have to carry it alone.

Hosts are not counsellors

Hosts on Hello Fraands are friendly people for a normal talk, company, and being heard. They are not doctors, counsellors or crisis workers. This is not therapy. A host cannot give you the kind of help that a trained person can.

If your talk gets very heavy, you may hear a host kindly point you to 112 or 14416. That is care, not rejection.

If you mention self-harm

If you say something about hurting yourself, you will never get a strike for it. We will only do a welfare follow-up. You are not in trouble.

Priya has a rough night and tells a host she feels she cannot go on. The host listens, and gently points her to Tele-MANAS 14416. Priya is not punished in any way.

Hosts: if a caller needs urgent help

If a caller seems to be in danger, stay calm and kind. Suggest 112 or Tele-MANAS 14416. You do not need to solve it yourself. You can also end the call if you feel unsafe.
