What happens when my balance is low?

Learn the 2-minute minimum, the 60-second warning, automatic end, and the 60-minute limit on calls.

Read in 2 minUpdated 8 Oct 2026For callers

Your wallet decides how long you can talk. Here is what to expect, so a call never ends as a surprise.

The 2-minute minimum

To start a call, you need balance for at least 2 minutes at that host’s rate.

  • Host at ₹5 per minute: you need ₹10.
  • Host at ₹10 per minute: you need ₹20.
  • Host at ₹20 per minute: you need ₹40.

If you have less, add money first. See top up your wallet.

How long can I talk?

A call lasts as many whole minutes your balance can buy, up to 60 minutes per call.

  • Rohit has ₹50 and calls a host at ₹10 per minute. His balance buys 5 minutes.
  • Meera has ₹700 and calls a host at ₹5 per minute. Her balance could buy 140 minutes, but one call is limited to 60 minutes.

The warning and the automatic end

About 60 seconds before your limit, you hear a warning. Then the call ends by itself when the time is up. This can be because your balance is finished or because you reached 60 minutes.

Your balance never goes below zero. You will never owe us money.

After the call ends

You can start a new call if you add more money and the host is still online. If you reached the 60-minute limit, you can call again if you want to keep talking.

How billing works

You pay per started minute of connected time. For example:

  • 61 seconds at ₹5 per minute is 2 minutes, so ₹10.
  • 3 minutes 20 seconds at ₹10 per minute is 4 minutes, so ₹40.

You pay only when both of you are connected. Ringing or a call that never connects costs ₹0.

Tips

  • Add a little extra before a long chat.
  • Check the host’s price before you call. It is shown on their profile.
  • Look at your wallet history any time to see all charges.

If you think a charge is wrong, read billing errors. For full rules, see the wallet terms.
